mike, erin and trey, plus one
We have had a great three years having lots of fun with the Penns (since we live 1.86 miles away and all). We decided to update Trey’s 6 month photos, and to also document Erin’s pregnancy – they are having a little girl near the end of September! We took some photos in their yard (which was also updated due to America’s Most Desperate Landscape!), and then went to downtown Dexter’s cute new park.
chris + kyri are married!
David and I have been looking forward to the Kemp wedding for a long time for a lot of reasons – they were the first to officially book a wedding with us, they got married on a beautiful beach, we loved their engagement session, and they are great friends of ours! It was an honor to be a part of their day – the day we almost missed because of taking a wrong turn and ending up on the bridge to Canada! Once we figured that out though, the rest of the day was very smooth and a perfect celebration of the love Chris and Kyri share. Enjoy!
louie’s a senior!
I have heard so much about Nurse Judee from the Reeves, so was excited to take senior photos for her youngest son, Louis! Louis plays for the Saline Fiddlers, a premier youth fiddling show band, so he brought his violin for photos. It was so awesome to hear him play and also, to watch others gather to listen to him! Louis was so easy going and great for pictures – even though we all agreed, senior pictures are mostly for the moms anyway

baby eden is here!
I have been looking SO forward to taking newborn photos for Joe and Karen since their maternity shoot (which also happens to be one of my favorite shoots to date). They knew they were having a girl, but kept the name secret – and isn’t Eden Elizabeth one of the greatest names you’ve heard? Baby Eden lives up to her name by being serious and cute all at the same time. I loved putting together this preview – Joe and Karen, I hope you love it too!
amanda and lloyd are married!
I have known Amanda for as long as I can remember – she’s my best friend’s sister, which makes her mostly my sister, too! Amanda and Lloyd got married at her uncle’s gorgeous house on the lake. It was a beautiful day after the rain moved out, and was wonderful to celebrate Amanda, Lloyd and Kyra becoming a family – and even more exciting, baby Aviana joined them a few weeks later to make them a family of four. Congratulations, Amanda and Lloyd – what an exciting year you have had!
the coughlins
After 3 reschedules due to storms, 105 degree weather and power outages, we were finally able to connect with the Coughlin family for their summer family photos. We loved seeing how much the girls have grown since their last photoshoot, and of course, the girls were great to be around again!
