Hi… I’m Sarah!

I love pictures. I love how they make you feel and think – but mostly, I love how they make you remember. My goal as a photographer is not only to take beautiful pictures, but to take pictures that make you remember the laughter you shared as a family, the looks you shared when you were engaged and the feeling when you promised to love and cherish each other on your wedding day. In my eyes, everyone has a story and photographs are the perfect way to capture not only the moment, but the essence of what your story is at that moment in time.

I also love the State of Michigan, epidemiology, camping, my husband, camping with my husband, and our dog, Tucker. We would love to get to know you, so please use the contact link at the top of the page to drop us a note!

A new camera, a 365 project, and now sdreeves photography.  There is something special about the story just one image can portray.  I hope that clients and the average passerby enjoy the stories that I try to tell with my pictures.  I have enjoyed joining Sarah in our adventure through the world of photography.  Although this has been a recent find, it has quickly become one of my favorite ways to spend my free time.  By day, I’m a middle school math teacher in Saline.

The two of us

We met during college and were best friends for several years prior to realizing we both wanted to be more than just best friends. We got married in 2008 and have lots of fun together taking pictures, working on our house, taking walks with our dog and laughing.
